Some expressions on faces when you tell them great news are priceless... Others may not have the same expression or reaction. Prepare yourself for both.
The genuine excitement that glows from their face will be one that makes you so happy. I have a few friends who when I told them about you nearly cried. This in turn had me about crying. As I thought of this I thought how lucky I am to have such amazing friends and how you will have so many wonderful "aunts" you won't know what to do.
For that you are truly blessed.
I say this for you:
When you are old enough to create friendships be sure they can share in the excitement of what you are going through, that they can cry when you are in pain, and they are upset when you are hurt. That they will share in your emotions simply to help you through those times of need. Those are the friends that will forever be there for you. Hold on to them. For there will come a day when you will be so low, so down, and so ready for it to be over - it is those friends who will help you out of the darkness and into the light.
Oh my sweet baby. How I wish I could protect you from all the things you may encounter that will hurt you. Yet, I know every decision you make will make you grow into a beautiful, strong adult.
I love you so very much and with every breathe I take I promise to be there for you.
